Prepare to be engulfed by the gravitational pull of the 2025 Delirium Ultra, marking our triumphant return for the 13th year and Fourth year on on Lady's Island.
Originating in 2011, the Delirium Ultra has traversed various locales, including Bluffton, Ridgeland, Habersham, before settling in its permanent home in Beaufort, SC. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Mitchell Family for graciously hosting us on their picturesque farm. As you navigate the 1.65-mile loop adorned in your most captivating black hole-themed Halloween costume, immerse yourself in the cosmic allure of the event.
The Delirium Ultra presents three challenges: 6, 12, and 24-hour races, where the ultimate victors are those who log the greatest number of miles. Join us for the Lt Dank Sophisticated Beer (BYOB) at 7:30pm Friday evening, and embark on this cosmic odyssey.
Location: The 2025 Delirium Ultra will unfold on Lady’s Island, SC, a hidden gem veiled in mystery. Navigate to 206 Springfield Rd and follow the Delirium signs to the designated parking area, then let the cosmic journey begin. Please follow the race signs and do not enter the drive way at 206 Springfield Rd (this is technically not where the race is, just the closest address to the race parking area). When you arrive, you will turn RIGHT onto Springfield road, go past the driveway to 206 Springfield Rd and follow the signs to the Delirium Parking area. Turn LEFT on to the POWERLINE road (Chinaback Dr) and continue to follow the signs to the parking area.

Parking Area: Continue to follow the Delirium Parking signs around the pond RED ARROWS. Please do not enter the Band/ Artist area with your vehicle, continue driving straight. Please park on both sides of the parking area, pulling in straight to leave plenty of room for all runners. Please car pool if possible to reduce the number of cars on property. The Staging Area is located adjacent to the parking area, please plan accordingly to hull your gear to your spot.
Packet Pick Up: Prepare for your journey at packet pick up on Friday, October 17, 2024 from 3:00-7:00pm or on race day between 6:00-7:00am for a prompt start at 8:00am. If you pick up your packet on Friday you do not need to check in on race morning. Packet pick up will be located at the main Aid Station, each runner must pick up their own packet and Transponder. Packets will NOT be issued to other runners or crew. Please do not forget your timing Transponder on race morning, there will be a $50.00 fee to replace your transponder if you lose or forget it.
When: All Races commence promptly at 8:00am on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The 6-hour race concludes at 2:00pm, the 12-hour at 8:00pm, and the 24-hour epic adventure culminates at 8:00am on Sunday morning. Racers must check-in by 7:00am Saturday, with pre-race announcements at 7:45am.
Aid Station: Sustain your cosmic voyage with an array of celestial provisions at our single aid station, offering hydration, nutrition, and sustenance throughout the event. You will not go hungry! Our single aid station will offer the following items: water, Tailwind, dark and light soft drinks, oranges, bananas, typical sweet & salty ultra-snacks, Spring Nutrition, chicken noodle soup, burgers and pizza and other hot foods throughout the night. If you have any special requirements from a nutrition standpoint, we ask that you bring those items with you.
All Grounded Running Ultras have always been 100% cup free. Please ensure that you bring a hand held bottle and/or a reusable cup for soft drinks, water and all drinks!!!
Hot Food Menu: We ask that only runners eat at the aid station and pick up their own food, crew will be turned away from getting their "runner's" food.
11:00am Hot Grilled Cheese and other sandwiches
4:00pm Hamburgers (Like the kind made of animals. If you would like to bring your own veggie burgers, we will be more than happy to grill them for you)
9:00pm Pizza and quesadillas
10:00pm Chicken Noodle Soup – throughout the evening.
Overnight: We will do our best to keep you fed with any requests! Just give us a lap or two to get it prepared hot and fresh for you!
Night Running: As darkness descends, illuminate your path with a headlamp or handheld light, essential for runners in the 12 and 24-hour races.
Race Staging and Camping: Explore our cosmic campground, set alongside the course for easy access. Staging areas are available for runners to recharge and prepare for the next lap. The parking area is not adjacent to the camping area so please plan accordingly! You can begin setting up your crew area at 3:00pm on Friday afternoon and camping is permitted Friday night. If you are bringing a camper, we have very limited access and you must arrive on Friday.
